Richard Croft
Sustainable Land Management and Development Facilitator
Richard Croft is a facilitator and consultant with over 30 years of experience in sustainable land management and construction. He began his career as an officer in the Royal Engineers before
specialising in soil and groundwater remediation, working across Canada, the USA, the Middle East and Europe.
Today, Richard splits his time between CL:AIRE, where he delivers project management development programmes, and consulting for property developers and contractors on brownfield redevelopment. His facilitation style is grounded in openness and honesty, helping teams apply sustainable principles to real-world challenges.
Richard founded the specialist remediation contractor RemedX Ltd and is now leading the development of CL:AIRE’s international soil passport scheme. He regularly presents at international conferences on sustainable land practices.
Passionate about making a positive impact, Richard also volunteers as a Chaplain to the Army Cadet Force and serves on leadership teams for local community organisations.
