150CLD has been officially accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM) to deliver two of the industry’s most respected project management qualifications: the Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) and the Project Management Qualification (PMQ).
This accreditation recognises the high standard of our training and the practical, on-site relevance of our approach to project leadership within the construction sector.
APM, the chartered body for the project profession, awards accreditation only to programmes that meet rigorous quality standards and demonstrate proven ability to develop competent project professionals. This recognition confirms that 150CLD’s training aligns with best practice and equips construction teams with the skills needed to plan, lead and deliver complex projects with confidence.
150CLD’s project management training is designed around real site conditions, real pressures and the realities of modern project delivery. Our programmes embed two core methodologies: The Clarity Code, our structured approach to simplifying decision making in busy operational environments, and the Site Clarity Framework (TM), adapted from military planning methods to improve foresight, risk management and communication on site.
Both are integrated throughout the PFQ and PMQ pathways to help construction teams build stronger planning discipline, reduce waste, improve safety and create a shared language for delivery across disciplines and subcontractors.
Construction projects continue to face challenges such as fragmented communication, unclear planning cycles and high levels of rework. Research shows that up to 21 percent of project value is lost through inadequate planning and poor coordination. With increasing pressure on budgets, labour and timelines, the need for trained and competent project managers has never been greater.
The PFQ and PMQ give early career and developing professionals the capability to:
Understand core project management principles
Make informed decisions under pressure
Manage risk, resources and sequencing
Communicate more effectively across teams
Strengthen planning, forecasting and project controls
Deliver projects that are safer, more efficient and more predictable
Colin Tomlinson, Director at 150CLD, said:
“This accreditation is an important milestone for us. Our mission has always been to raise the standard of leadership in construction and give teams the tools to deliver projects without unnecessary stress and waste. Being recognised by APM gives organisations confidence that our training is both credible and practical. It is built for the way the industry really works.”
150CLD is now accepting enrolments for the 2026 cohort-based and in-house training programmes. Both qualifications can be delivered online or in person, with tailored pathways available for supervisors, engineers, aspiring project managers and experienced managers who want to progress into senior roles.
